And to add in, this property is owned by the same company that owns the Woodmark in Kirkland, WA that is a LL favorite. Top notch properties with wonderful ambiance and service.

Hello,
This looks like a great place. I've seen some packages where sister hotels are combined to make a longer trip -- a combination package with Hotel 1000 and The Woodmark in Kirkland would be great.
Cheers,
Julian

We stayed at the Hotel 1000 in Seattle over the Labor Day holiday. It is a fabuluous and luxurious hotel but the staff can be unfriendly and( un) welcoming. The Boka & Kitchenfood was excellent and the wait staffwere both knowledgeable and attentive. The Hotel 1000 breakfast buffet is the same very day, so if you enjoy variety it is best to order off the menu. We were unable to enjoy the "spa". It is best to make reservations way in advance!
So, overall a great facility just beware of the attitude of the staff.

Did you have a bath that filled from the ceiling? I just HAVE to know! Thanks.
Wanna tell more about the digs? I've been keeping an eye on the pkg for future use.

OOPS,
I forgot to mention....the incredible shower that comes from the ceiling into the oversized tub. Water is spilled onto the floor but it quite worth the "extra" mess. It is an awesome experience!

I forgot to mention that with my original post, but I looked at that oversized-stylized-free-standing tub and wondered where the faucet was. I found the faucet on the wall and the water came flowing down from the ceiling in a beautiful stream. I don't remember having any splashing out but could not resist relaxing in the tub after dinner with a glass of wine. It is showcased behind glass from the bedroom area which is also a nice touch but if you want privacy there is amotorized blind inside the glass.
As an additional note, we came and went through the hotel without a whole lot of contact with the staff so I have little comment there. I would like to note that if you touch any of the bottles of wine, candy, or bar items you will get charged for them so watch your bill. We were just checking out what they offered but did not use anything from the bar. They sit on a shelf and not locked away in a cabinet. When I noticed items on the bill I questioned why we were charged and that it was a mistake. They said "well did you touch any of the bar items in the room" and my husband said, "yes, we touched all kinds of things in our room, we stayed there you know." So they explained "there are sensors on everything". Seems to me that might be a bigger pain in the butt than a help to them. As a matter of fact, marketing-wise I think the loss of a snickers or two would be better than overcharging one customer and losingthat customer.

sllazar
thanks for the update and adding to the info on rooms at hotel 1000. The tubs sounded so novel; I had to ask!
I, too, am constantly aggrevated by the "sensor" minibar/fridges. Particularly in Europe-- when I want to chill my water or wine or soda. Many hotels don't have ice buckets and most don't have ice machines, so you're at the mercy of room service for a few euros, or USING the fridge they provide in the room. Then you have the check-out "situation"--so, as a precaution, we tell the desk we would like to remove ALL items and set them aside. If housekeeping wants to collect them, fine. We just want to USE the fridge.
I must say one thing, in defense of Hotel 1000: when I was looking at their package, we asked about bringing an 11 yr old with us and sales mgr offered extra bed and no additional charge for 3rd person under 13. I'd say that's a real bonus, and makes a very chic property more family friendly. Side note--we haven't gone yet; and will probably go w/out child (now that school's on) but it's good to know!"wherever you go, there you are"
