Costa Rica Possibility
We would probably consider a long weekend back in Costa Rica if this property is added as an auction item:
Lost Iguana Resort & Spa, Arenal Volcano
...anyone been there?- Ω -

Well, O, if it's lost, how do we find it?
Kidding aside--it's gorjus!!
I think it needs to be found on LL.Last edited by kyshel; 08-24-2012 at 02:43 AM.

this one looks good -especially the "celebrity suites" - actually have not been to this part of CR as we usually consider the Arenal volcano area a bit too touristy, however, this does have promise!

j-s-2...to your point regarding 'over weight' of properties in Costa Rica. Obviously the country is very popular, easy to get to, and very tourism friendly....so why not offer a lot of choices.
We have visited there several times, each to a different locations (beach properties are not a huge draw for us, we can walk to beaches along the Atlantic right here at home).
We enjoy exploring tropical jungles and crawling around peaks (volcanoes)....and spa treatments are always a plus.....so this place holds interest, should Luxury Link offer it in the future.
p.s.....of course, the 'downside' of living in the tropics and close to a major body of water is preparing for hurricanes each season....which is what we are doing this weekend...where are batteries and is there enough water stored in the garage???Last edited by omegaet; 08-25-2012 at 10:58 AM. Osa Eco Lodge
Why not take a look at Lapa Rios, an outstanding eco-awards winner located in the Osa rainforest? This one might appeal to L.L. as it offers private bungalows scattered throughout the property, guided adventure tours through the forest (and bird-watching excursions), swimming pool and yoga studio, and the food is not bad, either.
Getting there is the catch, though. You take a light plane -- straight out of dated war films -- connecting the San Jose airport to Puerto Jimenez in southern C.R. Once there, the lodge's Jeep will pick you up for the interesting and sometimes bumpy ride to Lapa Rios. You will be greeted at the lodge with refreshing fruity drinks, and all will be well. Actually, we both delighted in the adventure itself and count the experience among our most memorable south of the border capers.
Note: Lapa Rios is one of several eco-friendly accommodations in C.R. Check out parent company "Cayuga." Correct me if I'm wrong about this, anyone?

I think LL had this on offer a short while ago.
