I thought you were posting a joke. It really is a hotel.(?!!)
Not our style, for sure. "Rooms" look like outhouses or tool sheds. I don't see one chair in the whole "resort" that appears to be comfortable, except maybe a chaise. Butterfly and director's cahirs are the pits for sitting and conversing. I don't like the whole minimalist/barren concept. I want some charm and character. I wasn't sure about the pipe with the light--what was that, a widowmaker shower? I didn't see any pics of bathrooms except a bad one from TA reviewer. Where do you put a suitcase? I've seen cruiseship cabins and RV's that were bigger, more efficient and more inviting than these "shack".
This a case of Eco-Schmeeco to me. I'm sure SoCals will like this place. Sorry."wherever you go, there you are"

Well.....maybe this is a place to 'find yourself'' to 'be centered' to 'Zen out' and not be distracted with the 'material trappings' and 'constant electronic connections'....maybe a place for 'green tea' or 'distilled agave extracts' rather than champagne.
Who knows?
Possibly not for everyone!
