Safari Company-Thompson Safaris was excellent in every way
What a wonderful country and fantastic experience and no sickness/bug bites of any kind (we went in June)

Hello,

Definintely second the recommendation of Crater Lodge -- it's amazing! I've stayed at both Tree Camp and North Camp. It's nearly always full so I'd be surprised if they listed on LL, but I've seen some other CCA properties listed here so it's always possible.

BTW Gibbs Farm is near Karatu, not Arusha -- it's one of the non-Crater rim properties for people who want to visit the Crater but either can't afford or can't find space on the Crater rim.

Good suggestions...

I would LOVE to see auctions for any of Conservation Corp. Africa's (CCA) porperties such as the Crater Lodge. I have not yet stayed there but a LuxuryLink package would definitely motivate me to go!

Hi Cruisinred,

I haven't seen any Tanzania listings from CCA, but their South African properties are somtimes listed here -- I've seen Phinda, Ngala, and Madikwe at various times. Keep looking -- you never know!
