Fregate Island, The Seychelles
Hello,
Please consider listing Fregate Island in the Seychelles. This is an incredible place -- a private island with only 16 villas blending casual island elegance with state of the art technology. It's a wonderful place for sun and sand which is also so much more than that, much like its neighbour North Island. Fregate hosts endangered turtles on its beaches and all sorts of birds on its shores. There is even a herd of giant tortoises!
I still can't figure out how to post pictures, but please visit this website and you'll see what I mean...

Cheers,
Julian

I second the requuest for Fregate Island Private to be an offering by LL. A number of years ago (maybe 2000 or 2002?), LL did offer Fregate as an auction and we were the successful bidders on one of the offerings. The packages was for 5 nights on Fregate (and then we decided to stay at Banyan Tree to extend the trip). Fregate was fabulous. The villas are quite special. Most of them are in a private/secluded setting. They have 2 building/sections for each villa - on one side there is the spacious bedroom and bath (with both indoor and outdoor showers I believe). A large deck area connects to the other "room" which is the living area - a very pretty (again large room) with couches, chairs., table , fancy coffee/cappachino maker (my husband used, I'm not abig coffee person). Thre is a TV and video player. My recollection is that the wood work for both the rooms and deck area was very pretty - perhaps mahogany...Also, there are stairs off of the deck area which lead to your own jacuzzi and day bed area. All of this overlooks a spectacular view of the Indian Ocean. The food and service was top notch and the general manager was quite approachable and we had a number of very pleasant and interesting conversations. Oddly enough, when we went to Banyan Tree after our Fregate stay, the Fregate GM also went to BT withhis wife for a 2 day break - so one night we had cocktails together at BT. My only word of advice re Fregate is thatmany of the beaches are accessed by lengthy "stair case" made into the hillside - I believe one might have about 200 steps. Forgot to mention that each villa comes with its own gof cart for scooting around the island - thhis is great for getting around the island but doea not assist in getting down to the beach areas - just fyi. We would absolutely, positively LOVE to see LL list this property for auction again!!!!!
