I definitely agree that the GHM hotels would be a great match for LuxuryLink. Some of their properties that I would love to see at auction on LL include:
- The Setai in Miami --the pictures of this hotel look gorgeous, but the rates are steep for a city hotel at $700+ for a regular hotel room
-The Legian in Bali---stylish hotel right on the beach
- new GHM hotel in Hoi An Vietnam----located in a historic town with charming architecture, this new modern style hotel with private pool villas is a beautiful contrast

100 % Agree with GHM Hotels. I was disapointed not able to find regarding Buy Now options or Bid Now for GHM properties (especially in Asia). I did contacted the hotel directly, and able to secure some reservation for my trip in June'07. Actually the Hotel offer greatpromotions for their properties (The Legian Bali , The Club at the Legian Bali, and The Chedi Club at Tanah Gajah). I am sure LL should be able to establish a contact with themto secure some great offer.
As we know, Adrian Zecha (Director and Chairman of GHM Hotels) is the driving force behind world-renowned hotel companies, which include Regent International Hotels Ltd, Rafael Hotels and Amanresorts.
I only hope that GHM Hotels properties soon will be available at LL.
We have already seen AMANRESORTS property offered in LL (although the rate is not much different with direct booking with the hotel), but this showed that LL is really committed toa Luxury Hotel properties options.
TIP: The Setai Hotel Miami , is a part of American Express Fine Hotels and Resorts, booking via AMEX will give you some bonus offer such as breakfast included, 4 pm check out, upgrade to next class (upon availability), and Bonus : 1 lunch per stay. Sometimes it is better to book via AMEX, if the price is not much different, at least you get the bonus offer ! which is better rather than nothing.
