Hi R....That is where I spent part of my honeymoon in 1989!! What a lovely area. We also enjoyed the surrounding areas of Bohinj and Vogel. The Julian Alps are beautiful....great suggestion!

and I concur--would love to see more in Eastern Europe!! Croatia, too!! I did some research on Slovenia for last summer and what beautiful towns--Bratislava!! --also Brno, Czech Rep!!
