I think it is relatively safe. We have been there a few times. The beach area is seeing a lot of real estate development. It is funny to see all the major US real estate companies selling land and homes!

mountie, I'm not sure the local airport parking facilities for our vehicle is a safe environment! As for the planned visit to Nicaragua, we will approach the travel with the same level of common sense we employ when making trips into most Central American countries.

Somehow I missed this! I just found it on our airline employee forum and thought I'd post it. Funny, as soon as he saw it, our admin replied this would be be perfect for me! This would be one SWEET addition to LL. Holy cow!

Lots of 'buzz' among the well to do Nicas about this entire project. Wanted to visit, but just ran out of time.

Sounds like a lot expat interest as well.

Luxury Link should be able to negotiate with this resort early on.
