Nimb Hotel Copenhagen
Looks like a top rated hotel on Trip Advisor. Great location! Haven't stayed there but plan on visiting in June.

That has to be a very strange hotel. We wondered about it when walking past. Odd location right at Tivoli--kinda like staying at Dollywood? I looked at pics /stories on TA. Glad I checked it out--it was such a mystery when we saw it a few wks ago. I thought it was only a restaurant. Our hotel was a few blocks away. Nimb is the closest place to catch the hop on/off buses, too. Now I have to ck the restaurant reviews!! (not that I'll be able to afford to eat a degustation dinner there anytime soon--CPH is SOOO expensive. But there's a really cool hot dog vendor wagon across the street from Tivoli!)
Thanks for the tip, B!"wherever you go, there you are"

Yes....Nimb seems very different and a nice smaller size property. The price is quite high so it would be nice if LL could put a great package together....if not, I'll be eating at the hot dog cart!

12-26-2011, 05:39 PMI stayed at Nimb for a night and it was really posh. Quite convenient location (obviously close to the Tivoli Gardens and to the Glyptotek), but beware Friday nights in summer. They run a concert series that starts at like 11 pm. Not great for sleeping. Otherwise, you're probably fine.

Would you recommend this hotel? We are planning a Baltic Sea Cruise in June that leaves from Copenhagen and would probably need a hotel for one night. If LL put a package together would be happy to stay 2 or 3 nights in Copenhagen to visit.

12-28-2011, 12:34 PMWe stayed after our Baltic cruise for one night, and to be honest, I'm not sure. It was a gorgeous property, but didn't quite meet my expectations after having paid rack rate for the room. Also, like I said, if your cruise ends on a Friday, you will be trying to sleep when the concert starts up outside your window. It's a great way to get a free seat to the concert, but if sleep is on your mind, then maybe look somewhere else.

Thank you for the info and the warning about Friday concerts. I will double check our cruise dates.
