Upscale adventure/active tours
I would like to see more high end adventure/active tours to places like Bhutan and Africa.
Also, walking tours from operators such as Butterfield & Robinson would be a good fit for luxurylink.

I remember some time ago LL had tours through inner mongolia with camel rides. I really have wanted to be more active in bidding on these types of very random active travel excursions. I really hope to see them and bid on them in the future.

This is such an amazing place!
While I would no sooner go to Atlantis (it would have to be free), I'd be on a camel in inner Mongolia in a heartbeat (and I don't particuarly like the nasty creatures!)
While I would luxuriate in a tub watching wildebeasts and giraffes walk by, I have no interest in staying in a small B and B in the States.
There is such diversity in this community and in the packages that LuxuryLink offers--something for everyone!"wherever you go, there you are"

Along these same lines, how about some bike tours? I just did a (NOT luxurious) bike tour in the Mekong Delta of Vietnam and it was the highlight of our trip. What a great way to get off the beaten track, avoid other tourists, visit with locals and find out what real life is like in a country. Although advanced fitness wasn't required, the combination of biking 60 miles/day in heat and humidity coupled with the tiny little dirt paths and bridges with motorbikes whizzing by on both sides - that was an adventure! Plus, every meal tastes amazing when you are tired and sweaty after a couple hours of riding.
I too would love the camels in Mongolia, trips to Nepal, Bhutan, Africa, etc.

Classenam--please tell me more about the bike tour in Vietnam. I just referred my broker to LL and he and his wife are avid cyclists (after a day, you'd have to duct tape me on!!) You can just pm at your convenience. I have already recommended they look at doing something like that with LL pkg to accompany the adventure part. Thanks a bunch!

I definitely second the desire for bike tours on LL. I feel like some time ago there use to be quite a few more. One of them was even a bike tour between vineyards in France, which I would totally bid on if it came back up (though it almost seems a little dangerous).
Along those lines, I don't know if the LL staff has a webmaster that watches these boards, but I would love to hear from them how they go about choosing their package inventory and what types of feedback is helpful. It must be hard to figure out what people want to see in the way of Luxury packages.
