This is a fabulous place....we had planned to spend 3 night there and drink some wine, but the volcano dust cloud shut down the airport and we had to cancel the stay and alter our travel schedule.

I think you're close in your guess...probably Perdido vs Pardido.

It's only complicated when the airport is closed.

There is bus service from Buenos Aires to Neuquén

I've been reading more about the bus service (looking at it from Mendoza to Algodon Wine Lodge) and it looks super and fun! Wonder how far it is from BA to Neuquen?

I honestly wonder what the residents of Knoxville, Tennessee have in common with the residents of Neuquén, Argentina???

That confusion aside, the stay at Valle Perdido looks interesting and appears to be a really great deal in this Mystery Auction.
