Bidding Increments--Disturbing

Can I just throw out that I find disturbing some of increments on the Mystery Auctions - to go on the Mediterranean current one and see it go from $21 to $200? Then from $205 to $351? I almost wonder if it is someone involved with the property trying to get it to be better for them. I can see maybe larger jumps than $1, $5 or even $10 but $180 jump? a $146 jump? What is going on?

I believe that many people just don't do the research and overbid.....it's a shame.

Could it be that some people just don't understand that they only need to bid $1 more?

I also think there are many people who bid and/or buy LL packages but don't read the Luxury Lounge threads here, to pick up on some tips.

It's not a take your "Best Shot" auction. Remember when LL had "Best Shot" auctions?

The people that put these high bids in are usually not the ones who are winning the Mystery Auction, but they spoil it for everybody else. They just do not get the idea that these are Dollar auctions, and the time to put a high bid in is at the end, not at the beginning,
It's frustrating to see the price being jacked up in that fashion.
