This island is home to the southern most point in the United States, Ka Lae.

danielboldea, I agree. According to Wikipedia, Ka Lae (Hawaiian: the point), also known as South Point, is the southernmost point of the Big Island of Hawaii and of the 50 United States. The Ka Lae area is registered as a National Historic Landmark District under the name South Point Complex.

My guess is that this could be the Hawaii Island Retreat, at Kapaau, Island of Hawaii.
Looks like a great deal, but dates are not good for us.
