The property was also just shown on the Travel Channel with Samantha Brown visiting Latin America. It looked amazing. Swimming with Pink Dolphins looked great. She also went out at night on a very small row boat and got to see the night creatures. Please keep us posted if you go. Would love to hear a real life report on the property. I did check the map and it looks like the North part of Brazil. It interested me because I also had my heart set on Poncha dos Gachos (check it out on LL buy now auction.)

As I recall my trip many Brasilian moons ago: I took a prop flight from Belem to Manaus and it was maybe 7-800 miles away. It had been raining for 3 days solid sheets (the hotel felt sorry for me and took me in a van to see the Amazon River). That was the first day it didn't rain! This place is still 2 hours away by power boat! Anyway--it's way in there, that's for sure. Manaus, as an old colonial city, is interesting to spend a day or two to see, because it looks like once you get to this property, you'll be busy! I would probably stay a night on each end, pending the arrival time--the boats go 2X per day.
PS--the pink dophins are absolutely gorgeous!
