Sounds like the Inn at Harbor Steps in Seattle ...
and LL Moderator, after each auction please let us know the actual propertyreferenced, not just the city.
What good is it to know that the hotel you bid on but didn't win was "in New York" when it could have beenfor anything from the toney Plaza Hotel to the dismal Bronx Days Inn ?

Hi, and welcome to LL community. Do you really think you would be bidding for the "dismal Bronx Days inn"? Hey--I've bid on a few that I thought were in a totally different place from my first idea--whoops--wrong-o, but lost, I did, and that's ok, too.
If it were not a "mystery", then I suppose it would be a "regular" auction? Plenty of those at LL.
Perhaps your winning bid might be for the "toney Plaza Hotel" (wherever that is) and if you wanted that at a certain price, then you got an LL deal.
The last few mystery auctions have had some great clues to lead bidders to the exact location [without telling]. Not all are that precise and require a bit of homework, but the reward might be a price below compare--so, take heart--there are some incredible deals to be had, and I hope you have as much fun trying to figure out the actual property of the mystery place as so many of us do--or, sometimes--do not.
Mnay of us have "lost" auctions and some of us have "won" our bids. This is a place for exploration and shopping. Hope to hear more positive comments from you soon.

All 3 location pictures are of somewhere in Canada but I need a clue as to the rockies or the Laurentians?

Hey kyshel -
Re-read my post -- I was talking about after the auction-- not during it, while it's still "fun," as you say.
Chill out and stop looking for negativity. (and if you don't know the Plaza Hotel in NYC,I suggest you check it out!)

No,I don't think it is the Inn at the Harbor Steps. I've stayed there. No deluxe view. Only views of the inner courtyard. Exercise facilities are not as extensive as quoted. But the view does look like Seattle, so either Canada looking over or Seattle, proper.

It has to be British Columbia from the clues that were given. It shows the provincal bird-Stellers Jay , the provincal flower which is the Pacific Dogwood and the provincal tree the Western Red Cedar. Now which hotel-maybe one of the Fairmount properties.

I think I just found another clue. This mystery auction is listed under "Ski & Snow Resorts". So, if we're talking about British Columbia my guess would be Whistler.
Remember, the photos are not an indicator.
