PS--I'm guessing the moderator already knows it's Bangkok--is that your point? I'm confused.

Kyshel, okay, I'll bite - I think Omegaet means Bangkok's not really known for being filled with, well, "angels", much like our own Los Angeles - is that right, O?

This one sounds good...wish I could have another Asia vacation soon!

regarding the oxymoron: oh. I thought it was more obtuse than the obvious. (great, now my brain is smoking!!)

regarding the auction--I wanted this one so badly--but the ruling from the boss is "no more bids until we complete our trip to Thailand"[period] ...but but but...to no avail

He's right, of course--we have free hotel for 4 nights--why would I want a fabulous suite with a 6 course dinner and an enormous buffet breakfast every day?? And, I'm guessing it's the Banyan Tree (shuttle part sounds right) WHY indeed?? but it's not to be I'm just happy I know where there are more auctions to be had later!!

This lucky buyer will be getting a huge bargain, that's for sure, y'all.

re: the asian luxury auction: okay so we all knew it was bangkok, but did you ever say what hotel this was at so we could see if really was a bargain?

a mystery is a mystery but my guess was Banyan Tree. "only the Shadow (LL and purchaser) knows"...
