Please explain pinboard. I am not familiar with this concept. Thanks!

Pinterest - it is a place where you can post photos, etc., like a virtual photo album

Still don't quite see how this works.... need more explicit instructions, details, explanations- PLEASE

dhdanner summarized Pinterest about as succinctly as possible. It's a photo-oriented social media network where users post photo albums (called Pinboards), re-pin photos from other users, comment and "like" them. Pinterest boards are often very "aspirational" in nature - you see a lot of people creating boards for home decorating ideas, wardrobes, and in our case, places they want to travel.
