How about some New European Properties

The other day I got a LL e-mail featuring Germany. I was excited to finally see a Special on Germany. However, the only property listed was the Munich Palace and 4 or 5 Danube and Rhine cruises. Is this really the best LL can do on Germany?
I would love to see more properties offered by LL on Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Northern Italy. The Dollar is quite a bit lower than it was last year and there are some lovely properties that can be had with quite a few inclusions like breakfast, half pension, spa treatments, etc. at excellent rates, if only Luxury Link would be willing to include some of those properties in these various countries.
Any reason or explanation why we do not see anything in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Northern Italy?

The dollar is just a little lower than last year and the fear factor of fluctuations make it hard for people to choose Europe overe more lucrative destinations. Airfare for EU is very high due to fuel surcharges--you have to look at the whole picture. People may not want to pay $20 for breakfast (unless included) and another hundred for meals for the rest of the day. I think it's unrealistic to think that Europe is a luxury value destination.Airport taxes/fees for FRA are almost $100 to add to price of RT air ticket from the US. I recall you posted about the country-wide tax increase per person/per night in Italy alone.
I know that Switzerland is one of the MOST expensive countries in Europe--I've been there. Popularity is a key factor--price is a factor. . When customers aren't buying, I can see that LL isn't offering.

At least there are a lot of Luxury Link packages in Italy. We may be going in September or October and there are a lot of beautiful places to choose from. None of them are exactly cheap, but many are affordable. I'm particularly interested in the locations that include breakfast every morning, a dinner, and possibly an excursion or spa allowance.
