How Can We Improve the Forum?

A few weeks ago we posted a poll asking you to vote on a new name for our community. This is part of our bigger effort to improve the forum pages and we'd like your input. Are there features you'd like to see? Is there something you wish you could do, but can't at the moment. Yes, it would be nice to have our picture posting capability back. At times "a picture can be worth a 1000 words!" It was nice to see posts that contained pictures, and I think, the Community is missing this capability.

Also, it would be nice to see the availability (shelf life) of Auction and Buy Now packages up front instead of having to check through all the packages to find out availability/shelf life for a property.

Go back to subdividing Europe and other Destinations where warranted. Before, we had Italy, France, etc. Now, with only being able to post under "Europe" a lot of valuable information on some of the European countries is getting lost, because some posts are too far back. Divisions should be more country specific instead of Continent specific,

I second LL with having the availability on the main page as opposed to checking the property itself. I see that on Family Getaway, you can search by month. (we used to have this on LL.)

As to the forums.....how do you direct more interest in the "destinations sections." It seems as if all postings go to the General travel area. It would be good to direct more interest to those sections. Is it possible to link a property to the destination section that it represents??????

bj, I second both your suggestions!

In regard to viewing a list of auctions on the website, I'd like to be able to sort by "shelf life" of the auction.

I like the idea of sorting by shelf life or how quickly they expire. I think we have something like a last minute deals section, but it would be nice to see overall the ones that have a longer period of use.

I would like to see the longer shelf life ones also since I usually look for LL packages that go for a bit before they expire - I try and plan far ahead of time since work issues never allow us to do last minute trips so we need packages that give us at least 6 months window before they expire

Picture capability back too!
