Hello,

I'm actually happy about the news regarding the auto-bid feature. It's a good system for people like me who can't really stay in front of the computer and watch how the auction progresses.

As for sniping programs, I've also encountered them in other auction sites. The time extension is actually a good way of preventing them from instantly winning the bid (you'll still have to outbid them though).

So now that the Auto-Bid feature has been instituted for almost a year, I am wondering how most of you feel about this feature. Do you prefer to continue to have LL utilize this going forward or would you prefer to see the former system in place? Has Auto-Bid been a plus or negative in your opinion?

I was not 100% in favor of Auto-Bid when it was first discuss andeventually instituted by LL. As with many things in life, it just took a period of adjustment to realize the advantages. Now I use Auto-Bid on a regular basis.....just determine what my max bid will be and basically walk away.



Most of the time I get out bid because I was lookingto graba bargain and not seriously"in the hunt" for a trip we couldn't live without.

and it will probably stay that way for a while
