New Changes to the LL Community!
Dear LL Community;
Luxury Link is pleased to announce new updates made to the Community!
The most visible change you will notice is in the new look and feel of our Travel Blog pages. Our creative designers and tech team have worked together to come up with a layout that we hope makes the pages look much cleaner, easier to navigate and clearer to read.
There is also a new feature that will be implemented called “Kudos”, a much improved "ratings" system. The Kudos system is used for rating messages with a "positive only" rating system. Our system will be able to track how many Kudos a person receives as well as how many someone gives. Please know that you will not lose your current ranks. A conversion equation will be implemented that transfers ratings to Kudos. This will apply an appropriate Kudos score for messages that received high ratings, as well as authors whose messages received high ratings.
You will notice that the Private Messenger has been updated as well.
New features include a message editor that enables you to format and preview private messages the same way you do in message posts. It also is displayed in a standard Web page rather than in a pop-up window.
If there are any questions please don’t hesitate to ask the LL moderators. We hope you will find these new features a helpful addition to the Luxury Link Community and an improved home to showcase your fantastic travel experiences!
Cheers,
Katie

Re: New Changes to the LL Community!
Thanks for the changes. The expanded PM section is wonderful. In the past, space was limited. Thanks. Also, my biggest thank you for the new year is to have the "New Offers Section" updated. I love it! Great to see the new properties OR properties repackaged. Thanks!

Re: New Changes to the LL Community!
Hi Katie,
Thanks for the info. The new reply page looks nice and has more convenient features at our fingertips, that goes for the PM page as well as bonniejoy03 has said. I would have loved to see a way that one can can save a post and send it later. For example, while at the airport recently waiting for our flight, I tried to give an extensive answer to someone planning a visit to France. While I composed the text, I wanted to go back to Google and insert links and pictures. Skipping back and forth between my message and Google to search for the links, I accidentally didn't open a Google page I wanted to check out in a New Tap, but went to it directly from my message page I was working on, so I lost the entire message of about 3 hours worth of work. I was quite upset about it because I had put in quite a bit of effort, but there was no way to retrieve the lost message, and I haven't found the time yet to get back to re-compose my reply. I believe curtiejoe and I have mentioned this much needed feature to save a post, to you before. It would have been nice to put such a SAVE feature or SEND LATER feature into the New Changes and improvements to the LL Community to preserve our posts that we are working on. It is hard to compose a long message or blog directly on-line without being able to go back to check out links, etc. in an easy fashion. A SAFE feature would greatly improve this site. I hope you could take my suggestion for a SAVE feature under advisement and maybe have your tech people check out the feasibility. Most e-mails have this SAFE or SEND LATER feature, and perhaps this could be incorporated here.
I haven't seen the new KUDOS feature yet that was to be implemented on 1/15. Where would it be located?
