Thanks everyone. We're still ironing out little things so if you see something quirky just let us know.

I'd like to post some photos on the new website from my past LL travels. I tried to do so but was unsuccessful. FWIW, I use a MAC and iPhoto. I was successful in selecting the photo to upload, but when I clicked on the LL website button to upload the photo, it would not work. It was as if the button wasn't activated.
It looks like some of you were successful in posting some photos recently? Any tips or advice?

I have had trouble too. ichris was very helpful in putting a small video demo up, but the instructions were really too small to read on the video which made following difficult. ichris said he would try to find a solution to simply copy and drag our photos into our posts, like we were able to do way back when under the old system before the lithium platform. Hopefully, ichris will be able to work out something for us that are "technically challenged". I miss not being able to supplement my posts with pictures.

I added photos using photobucket. It worked. Also, under the new "photo gallery" you have the choice to upload photos from your own computer. It works also.

I have added photos - you just have to watch the size. My originals were too big and could not upload them so I put them on one of the photo sites and reduced the size and they uploaded fine. Mine are in the photo gallery - not sure if we can actually included photos in our posts and blogs yet?

First I tried to upload 3 photos from my iMac - no luck. Then I tried to upload 1 photo from iPhoto on my iMac - no success.

Hey guys here's the video I made a couple weeks ago for Fan, but it's a bit hard to read:
How to add Images as Attachments to Blog Posts
To the right of the video, you'll see that my Desktop has a folder on it called "MY_IMAGES". It's just some folder into which I drag various pictures during the demo.
The demo goes thru these steps:
1) Visit some web page online with nice pictures. In this case, I'm using our Jade Mountain page.
2) Drag pictures pictures from that web page into my "MY_IMAGES" folder sitting on my desktop. In this case, I'm dragging pictures from the Jade Mountain slideshow into the "MY_IMAGES" folder.
3) Create a sample Blog Post titled: "Jade Mountain, in Words and Pictures"
4) Paste some blog text into the Blog Post
5) Add images that are inside the "MY_IMAGES" folder, as attachments to the Blog Post.
Mac users, (I'm actually a Mac User as well) the steps should be nearly the same, it's just that you'll need to similarly find the files on your computer. I don't think uploading straight from iPhoto will quite work. You can drag pics from iPhoto into a folder on your desktop, and make attachments from there.Last edited by ichris; 02-13-2012 at 10:22 AM. Reason: updated link name
