Thanks for sharing that review. What I can't understand is why did the author NOT know about the package inclusions before booking? Not every lodge includes laundry service, trackers, and so on. I wouldn't have much of an expectation of a fabulous safari in that location, on a private stocked reserve?

Most of the tripadvisor reviews differ from the BT article, too. That was very interesting...

The expansive wooden deck of the main lodge is a perfect spot for a hot cup of coffee and a pair of binoculars, as you scan the bush below for wildlife. Relax at the bar or in the lounge, or simply while away a lazy afternoon in the library, featuring a selection of local literature and African journals.


Addo Lodge

I am surprised about this above post as 1) it has nothing to do with Dwyka and 2) it is being posted by a property and not be a traveler. I found this out when I went to the link they posted and saw the name was lalibela, same as the posted name. I didn't think properties posted on the forums.

However on the website, I was saddened to read this post from 2 hours ago: Lalibela is devastated to announce that 4 of our rhinos were poached last night.More details to follow as the bodies have just been found.
