If you're looking for high season, this is a great deal since it's priced for two adults, including game drives. So many lodges in that price range in this area don't offer the meals/drives--if they do, their fare is priced per person. The Blyde River river trip is a plus It's a very small property and not all guests get chalets, but it has some really good reviews. Looks like a good idea for 3-4 nts. Close to Hoedspruit town (we flew in there from JNB but they also have flights from CPT)
Logistically, it's a good option to/from JNB is you drive, starting early AM to make the first game drive in the afternoon or catch the last AM one before driving back. You can also take a leisurely drive thru the Drakensberg Mtns or down south thru the Zulu battlefields.
So many options to get there fast or slow!

Vuyani Safari Lodge is offered on Vacationist several times a year and is one of my favorite sales. An African safari remains on my personal bucket - mainly for financial reasons - but as you mentioned this sale combines all-inclusive luxury and game drives at a very attractive price point.

I just booked there two rooms for our African trip in November. Unfortunately, I booked 1 day after the sale ended and did not get this great price.Anything I can do at this point to still get the low price. Does LL have any pull???
The sale ended on Jan. 28 and I booked on Jan. 29. Outch....
