Re: Sabi Sabi
no--it was the island Ntwala because it was truly a "wet" safari. It hasn't been offered for a few years that I am aware-once LL set up pkgs w/andbeyond, it disappeared. Does anyone remember if it was a stand-alone or in combination with another property? A bet JashserMD (former contributor and Africa aficionado) knows the answer!

Re: Sabi Sabi
I didn't know that. I thought i discovered this place on my own. In any event, we loved the two nights we spent at Ntwala Island and the entirely water perspective on the animals. Since you have your own boat and guide, you can come and go pretty much whenever you want (but we did the normal morning and afternoon/evening schedule). There are supposedly 90,000 elephants in Chobe and we probably saw 500 of them. Plenty of Hippo, giraffe, cape buffalo, kudu, babbons and crocs. We saw our only Sable Antelope there too. Lots of birds of course (though not as many as in the Okavango Delta). The suites are very large and beautiful and the lodge itself is right over the rushing waters of the Zambezi. The nights we were there only one other suite was occupied so it was really intimate.
