tips for touring with kids

I am planning to go on family tour for south Africa. My two kids 4 and 7 yrs old will be with me, so I am worrying about their health there. Can some give me special tips?

I lived in South Africa for 35 years and still have family living there. There are outstanding first world medical facilities and private hospitals there. My advice to anyone travelling to South Africa is if one gets sick there and needs medical attention (and does not know where to go) your best bet is to be guided by the hotel. Hotels have excellent doctors on their records. All the major cities (Johannesburg, Durban, Cape Town, etc) have brilliant private hospitals and clinics where medical standards are exceptionally high. Water is purified and can be drunk from the taps.
