Hi. Has anyone ever stayed at at Amanwana and / or dived Komodo / visited Komodo? We are thinking of taking Aman's Komodo dive package (5 nights on our own boat and 2 at Amanwana). We would love some feedback frok anyone with experience of the resort and / or area. Also, is it as difficult to fly in - and out as it appears?

Hi Stuart,
My husband and I made an attempt to book at Amanwana however, they are firm regarding their weight restriction on the plane and with dive and camera gear we couldn't meet their requirements. We booked Wakatobi instead.
I haven't stayed at Amanwana, but it is on my "someday" list. Another great dive property in the region to consider is NIHIWATU on the island of Sumba. Very eco-chic, and great surfing and diving. This property has occasionally appeared on LuxuryLink.
