Hong Kong!!

Once we get the pkg availability details completed, we're off to Hong Kong. Our original plan was Beijing, but dealing with visas (renewing a secondary passport w/Russian visa, etc, timing was not favorable) Temps in Beijing are pretty chilly and Hong Kong is fair and mild in Feb...
No-brainer for me!!
So--who's been?? Any tips, info?? I believe several of our members travel there for business (betsyv?) It's been several years since I went to HKG and Guangzhou.
Looks like the Langham properties are some of the best, as well as best deals. Having great difficulty getting definitive information from the Langham. Langham Place has been quick to disallow LL during part of Chinese Lunar New Year, so we're skirting the holiday period itself. We've booked 4 nts there. Hopefully, someone in the Langham management can decide if we are eligible or not (it has taken them a week to acknowledge one way or another) The toll-free phone number provided by LL on the auction page is working and I've spoken to key res personnel, but a commitment is still forthcoming. Cross your fingers!!

I'm jealous, we've flown through the airport many times but I have never stayed in Hong Kong. Hope you have a wonderful time.

wow I envy you.. I've never been to Hong kong and I'm one of the million who dream of taking a trip to Hong kong.. I know there's so much to see in HK thats why i am looking forward on visiting there one day.
