We are looking to visit Bangkok to go to the gem markets and the goldsmith district. We would love to find a fabulous hotel for under $100/night. Like most everyone else we love the luxury boutique hotels but I'm not sure how much you get for your money in Bangkok. Although from what I've seen online it seems fairly inexpensive.

Any suggestions?

Also, does anyone know anything about English speaking guides who would be able to take us around the markets?
