Hi everyone, I am still trying to decide on where to go for our holiday later in the year but there are just so many beautiful resorts on L.L. that I just cannot decide. Anyway, one which I keep looking at is The Fortress in Sri Lanka. Has anyone got any thoughts on this resort? The package from L.L. was for a loft suite which sounds really nice. Cheers.

I haven't been to Sri Lanka yet, but I would love to combine a trip there with a visit to the Maldives.

I believe that the Fortress is a new property so it might be difficult to find feedback. It is part of the Per Aquum group of hotels and resorts which includes Huvafen Fushi in the Maldives.



Do take some time to familiarize yourself with the current security situation in Sri Lanka though. While tourists have not been direct targets of the rebels, I think there was a bombing in Galle last fall.
