09-13-2012, 10:17 PMI am interested in the keraton treatment (45 mins scalp massage & traditional balinese hair treatment, followed by full body traditional balinese massage, body scrub, and milk & flower bath) a 2.5 hours treatment

By the way, any of you considered 2 nights in Rejang Suite and another 2 nights in Dedari Suite?

09-13-2012, 10:26 PMI have 44 pages of menu from all restaurants at Tugu Hotel, Bali if anyone is interested...
Ladies, I am very tempted to try the picnic in bed experience there... It was featured on Conde Nast Traveller as one of world's most romantic beds

Picnic?? Did someone mention a picnic?
Schumaster--do you have the link for that article? I can almost see my husband's face--"we're going to eat where??!! (he should know me by now)
Can you believe it's only 6 wks now? I have been wanting to return to Bali since we left (about 4 yrs ago?) All I have to do is decide Banyan Tree or Lebua @State for Bangkok prior to flying to DPS.Last edited by kyshel; 09-14-2012 at 07:01 AM.

09-15-2012, 09:37 AMYip! Check this article http://www.cntraveller.in/content/world’s-sexiest-beds
It's the first pic on that page!
I can't wait either, kyshel!!! Speaking of Lebua, we got upgraded to Signature Suite in 52nd floor last year...i haven't tried Banyan Tree BKK, but Lebua was awesome, excellent service, our suite had 2 balconies...
Their food was also great, extremely overpriced though. We spent about €300 for a dinner, with NO alcohol. Sky Bar is also a must visit when you are in BKK

09-16-2012, 01:17 AMI think we are in the Rajang. That is the upper level one right? The hotel pretty much choose it for us. Maybe the other ones were booked. We are fine with in though.
We decided to do Tugu then 4 nights in Gili, then ubud, and the last 2 nights a private villa somewhere in the Bukit. About Bulan Madu - Villa Indah Manis - 5 bedroom luxury villa for rent in Uluwatu, Bukit - Bali. I'm super excited about it!!
P.s. we rented the separate 1 br honeymoon villa, not the 5 br one

09-27-2012, 06:43 AMJealous!
I will be in Bali Oct 13-17. Jealous that I can't meet up with you guys too! Ubud is so amazing. I will be in Sanur but I am strictly there on business not for fun. Anyway, hope you all enjoy the magical experience of Bali! If you have an open day, consider hiring a car and driver and going around the island to see different sights. They are very reasonable (one might even say cheap) and you can go at your own pace and include things that interest you. Bali has so many great sights and I really reccommend trying to explore the island and not limiting yourself to just one area.

Do you have a favorite driver, Betsy? We're planning on using a few--one in Tugu and one or more in Ubud.
