Is it Thailand?

Sue--I'd guess it's either Khao Lak, Thailand OR possibly, Vietnam. I'd post the link on tripadvisor.com in Thailand forums first. There are a lot of really good advisors there. I've only been a few times, but never as far as Khao Lak. My family was just there--I will ask them.

My best guess is the Ao Phang Nga National Park in Thailand. I think they are called karst towers and if you are old enough to remember, you may have seen them in an early James Bond movie, The Man with the Golden Gun.

I forgot about that--they do a "tour" to the beach where Scaramanga's lair is located! Good call, jsat!
