AUSTRALIA / MELBOURNE - Art Exhibit at the National Gallery of Victoria
NATIONAL GALLERY OF VICTORIA -- To Feb. 24: "Modern Britain 1900-1960: Masterworks From Australian and New Zealand Collections." Drawing from public collections across the two countries, the exhibition brings together, chronologically, more than 250 artworks -- paintings, sculptures and works on paper -- by 93 well-known British artists (Sickert, Bacon, Freud, Moore) or lesser-known ones (Percy Wyndham Lewis, Edward Burra and Laura Knight). -- www.ngv.vic.gov.au
