SYDNEY - Art Exhibit at the Art Gallery of New South Wales

I noticed you recently won an auction for one of the LL properties in Sidney. If you get a chance to go there before Feb. 3rd you might profit from the upcoming Art Exhibit at the ART GALLERY OF NEW SOUTH WALES -- To Feb. 3: "Sidney Nolan: A New Retrospective." The widely traveled Australian painter's (1917-92) prolific output is estimated at several thousands paintings. More than 100 are displayed here chronologically. They include the Australian landscapes; the Ned Kelly series depicting the 19th-century bushranger and murderer in a surrealistic version of his famous suit of armor; the African and the European paintings (Nolan died in Britain) and the late Chinese landscapes and abstractions. Nolan's diversity of styles and themes reflect his exploration of the known and the unknown, and their interpretation through imaginative, theatrical, realistic or abstract paintings.
