Gaia Resort, Costa Rica
Just returned from a wonderful stay at Gaia. Gaia is located right outside Manual Antonio Park. The property is run beautifully!! We were upgraded from a deluxe suite to a two bedroom unit. The unit was on three floors with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Very modern and clean. The unit had two lounging decks. The food was super. Breakfast in the morning was in an open-air room overlooking the ocean. Food was fresh and delightful. We enjoyed tapas and drinks in the evening. The resort coordinated a sailing trip for us and a guided tour of Manual Antonio. Our guide was from the park and he was so experienced. His wealth of knowledge impressed our small group. We saw sloths, monkeys, and other wild creatures. Gaia drove us to the beach a few times. It was nice but we hated to leave the property!!! The three tier pool was refreshing. A few nights, we took their transfers and went to Quepos to enjoy dinner. Ate at "Bogarts" a new Lebanese restaurant...LOVED IT!!! Had the three course meal and a typical Costan Rican three course meal....my husband and I were wonderfully stuffed!! The owner came over to introduce us and tell us about the food. He was also surprised that we could eat both meals! The next night we split the one three course meal! All in all, the Resort and surroundings exceeded our expectations.

Sounds like a place I could enjoy - I will have to save this property in my favorites. Pictures?

Hi D....I know you would love this place. Very small and intimate. Great breakfast included and a la carte. The facilites had a gym, computer room, spa, restaurant, 3-tier pool with small up bar, and free transfers to Quepos or Manual Antonio beach/park. Very secluded and private...loved it!
