Do NOT bid on this vacation or go to this Hacienda. Although the grounds are lovely and gated (resulting in a feeling of safety and security), the staff and/or maids stole close to $500.00 from our room. There are no safes, so you cannot lock your valuables, and when we approached management regarding the theft, we were essentially treated as if we were lying. I have requested that the owner contact me to discuss the theft, but at this point, he has neither contacted me nor offered us any sort of credit/refund. Dated 6/4/08.
