Spring Training & Innisbrook Florida
Heading to Phillies spring training in March. Anyone know the Innisbrook? It looks like it is about 12 miles from Clearwater. The property has a $350 resort credit!!! I have never seen any this high. I have an email into LL to see what that includes.

That's a nice deal. Just super with a GC! I wonder if it's that high due to greens fees and $$ massages? Gotta say, if it includes enough for tennis and spa plus general resort fees, and parking, it's a no-branier. That's one where I'd arrive as early as possible and try to stay late to enjoy all the amenities.
I think I might have to consider that for non-wkend getaway. Thanks! Let us know what you LL says, please!
WOW--I looked at the Indaba Spa menu and I can see where the resort will be gobbled up in an hour. Check the prices! I'd never consider paying $130 for a 50 minute massage ritual, unless included in the pkg. Sometimes LL gives us some really nice perks.Last edited by kyshel; 07-08-2012 at 06:34 AM.

bonniejoy03....I'm pretty sure this is the old Westin Innisbrook Golf Resort....sounds like new ownership.
It's probably 25 or more years old. It is near US19, which is the major north/south transportation route and can get very congested during season....so depart early if you are traveling off property for another destination.
If it's the same property, then I have stayed there a couple of times for meetings....but that was a couple of years back. As I recall, the accommodations were condos (I guess privately owned, but managed by the hotel).....they may have regular rooms as well. You should probably call the property directly and get your questions answered before hitting the 'buy' button.
I would classify it as a golf resort, with spa and a number of swimming pools. I don't play golf, but those who were in my party who did, had nothing but good things to say about the courses.
It's a 'resort' so expected to get hammered with fees left and right. I think you will burn up the $350 credit quickly.
It is situated on a huge and lovely tract of Florida land.....not beach oriented, but rather rolling hills (well, we call almost any undulation in topography a 'hill' in Florida).
p.s.....Tarpon Springs is close by so you can get your fill of authentic Greek cuisine.- Ω -

Thanks K and O. "Jen" from LL will be researching this resort credit. So far, the rules state it includes dining, spa, golf. She will be checking on tennis and alcohol! The package also includes breakfast, taxes, and resort fees! (without using the resort credit!) WOW. It does look huge though but it will be a nice long weekend and then visiting family in Florida. The tennis program looks fun! We probably wouldn't bring our clubs only our rackets. Will keep you updated.

OK....Jen got back to me. The resort fee includes golf, spa services, and on-site dining. No Alcohol! BOO.....It also doesn't include tennis but it doesn't hurt to check with the reservation manager. I will call them tomorrow.....It is still fantastic considering the auction price includes taxes and resort fees and breakfast. WOW......
