I want to vacation in Bora Bora but I don't want to be bored. I am not much of a swimmer but I would love to relax by the water. My question is about the night life. Both my significant other and myself are the type to stay up late and enjoy a drink before bed. What opportunities will be available to us on Bora Bora. Is it only a place to relax or is there a nightlife for us?

I just got back from Bora Bora 2 days ago and can tell you there is not much of a nightlife there. Most, if not all, restaurants are closed by 9 or 10 pm. There is 1 night club on the island I believe. My wife and I never went. For the most part, the island is dead around the same time the restaurants close. To top it of, most people don't stay on the main island itself, the stay on a resort that is on the surrounding Motu's. You'll have to follow the shuttle boats schedule and won't be able to stay out past the last shuttle.

Re: Visiting Bora Bora
Hi A and thanks for the update. Where did you stay? We have never been to the South Pacific and always considered it. How did you like the beaches? accommodations? snorkel? Could you go into any "towns" to get a taste of the culture? Thanks!
