How about adding a button within the messages that allows community members to flag messages / threads for removal.
Lately there has been a lot of spam within the community. There is not a good mechanism in place on LL for us to notify LL and have it removed. If the "flag" category is checked by LL staff everyday topolice the site, it will discourage this behavior and allow us, the loyal users, to keep the site cleaned up.

Here is another "PAT ON THE BACK" for LL staff. It is great that they listen to our suggestions.
Recently there has been an increase in SPAM postings on the site. LL advised us to send a message to LL staffer Katie for quick removal. One suggestion was a simple button LL users could click to notify a message needed to be removed.
While surfing around LL this AM I found a couple of new additions to the "Options" drop down menu on each message. You can now highlight a message, email a copy of the message to a friend, or (my favorite) -"Report Abuse to a Moderator"
