Congratulations on 15 years! What is your favorite spot that you have traveled to?

Answer from Diane:

French Polynesia, Tanzania (to see the Great Migration) and my recent favorite is closer to home, Miraval Arizona, which recently re-opened their spa. It's fabulous!

Do you see LuxuryLink adding a category that features only Eco-luxury resorts?

Answer from Diane:

Yes! We have recently begun to reach out to our hotel partners to gather info on their green initiatives.

TravelerBen_ll, I don't do FB, but I do have a question. Does Diane plan to have the Sales Team expand their efforts to more South American countries? I would like, especially, to see locations in Chile. Seems like everything is in Peru and Argentina these days. I loved my trip to Peru, but now I want to visit more countries down there.

How do you think the Luxury travel business has changed in the last 15 years since you started?

Answer From Diane:

When Luxury Link launched, most of our hotel partners didn't even have their own website. Luxury travel information was often hard to come by, except in magazines or through trusted friends and travel advisors...

We have been Luxury Link customers for several years and use it often when travelling to Europe. I am in the process of planning a trip to Vienna and it looks like you don't offer any packages there. With so many fine hotels in a world class city I would think you would offer something there. Do you have plans to expand to Vienna? PS: The service is GREAT!!!

I couldn't agree more. We're working on a Prague-Budapest-Vienna trip; stay tuned. Also, thanks Tony for your kind comments about our service.

I've been a customer for nearly 10 yrs and would really like to see more luxury safari lodges in South Africa AND Bangkok hotel offering increase in the near future. More Asia would be super!! I've bought more than a dozen deals and love buying from LL!

We're heading to Kapama Karula in August--wish I could have had another LL safari to add to that one! Will we see more?

Yes, we're working on it! Watch for Botswana and more South African experiences to come.

Do you think Luxury Link will ever be able to offer packages that include airfare?

Answer from Diane:

We hear you. Airfare can be tricky given travel from so many different points of origin. We usually recommend purchasing directly from your airline of choice. It turns out many of our customers combine our packages with their frequent flyer miles to get a super value on their vacation.

With sites like Jetsetter, SniqueAway, Vacationist and others, how will Luxury Link continue to maintain such fantastic deals? We always find the best deals on LL (especially the Mystery Auctions!) and want to ensure it stays that way!

Answer from Diane:

Our model is a bit different from the other sites, which is part of the reason we have been around for 15 years. Our hotel partners are interested in reaching our audience of sophisticated travelers, and put their best foot forward by offering the limited time, exclusively priced experiences we offer on LL...this model has served us well for the past 15 years!
