Kauai Grand Hyatt Resort in Spa

Enjoying my LL package in Kauai. The resort is beautiful with lovely grounds. There is a bit of construction and freshening up the property going on at the moment. All should be completed very soon. The property is so lovely it is hardly an inconvenience. The staff is gracious, willing to assist with whatever your needs may be.

The Club Level moved back into its regualr space today. The morning spread is very nice with fresh fruits, sweet breads and an egg dish as well as lox, bagels and a variety of the usual cereals yogurt and oatmeal .

There are several poolos including the salt lagoon. The area for children is well kept and there is spot for whatever or wherever you want to be. The ocean has had red flag warnings due to extreme weather the first few days here. Even the thunder and lightening was a treat to watch the first couple of days here. Weather is moderate 76-80 degrees. I have been Kauai several times, this place is a treat.

We are going to be in Kauai next month and are looking forward to it. Hope the weather is going to be less eventful as we are planning on taking the helicopter tour over Kauai.

We just got back from Kauai a couple of weeks ago. We did get a chance to take a helicopter tour over the islands and admire the beautiful scenery. The Napali Coast was spectacular. The weather was good too. I took lots of pictures. Unfortunately, my husband wore khakis and the beige color reflected in many of the pictures. Should have worn black trousers.
On the way back to the ship, we came by the Marriott Resort and took a quick peak. It looked very nice and I could easily see myself spending a week there.

Thanks. Did you see my note to you on Malta under Europe. Did you go to Valetta to the the Excelsior Hotel? I did in the auction for Malta and we are trying to combine Malta with Sicily this coming June. Any first hand information and recommendations, tips you can provide me with would be welcome.

I just read your post under Malta and I did reply there. Haven't fixed date yet, but will be around mid-June.
