Yesterday, on a uniquely-American holiday, during a uniquely-American race in a uniquely-American city, our country was shaken by a senseless act of violence. Two bombs detonated near the finish line of the Boston Marathon, claiming the lives of at least three people and injuring scores more.

Wonderful experience at Surf & Sand Resort in Laguna Beach

I recently purchased a one-night auction for the Surf & Sand Resort in Laguna Beach. I was thrilled with everything about the package. The hotel is in a perfect location and the room we received (#415) was literally perched right on the ocean. We had spectacular views of the entire coast.
We also loved the restaurant, Splash. The food was terrific, especially the lime chicken and braised brussel sprouts--trust me on this one. The brie burger was fabulous as well. The paella also
