Our last day in Paradise had painfully arrived - so sad to leave St John US Virgin Islands. We heard reports of bad weather off Miami. Hoping the reality for continued fun in the sun was destined, we continually called St Thomas with the strong desire that our flight would be cancelled. NO LUCK! Regretfully, we boarded the ferry to St Thomas and taxi to the airport only to be delayed. Had luck graced us? NO We boarded our flight to the US mainland and soon it was apparent that the weather was horrendous.
