Stunning hotel and friendly staff
This was the first night of our 7 day safari. I cannot say more great things about it this hotel. Upon arrival we were welcomed with a traditional Maasai song up to reception. All of the staff are so kind and attentive. Our waitress, Veronica, did amazing with breakfast and dinner. Speaking of food, everything was so delicious. From the traditional options to American classics. The rooms are stunning, with an amazing view. For our room, even our beds were warmed before we went to sleep. If you can, please stay at the hotel!

Everything thing was excellent! The grounds are so beautiful with the green grass and beautiful flowers. The food was absolutely delicious and beautiful presentation. Our lodge was perfect in so many ways. Every single staff member was soooo helpful and friendly, especially Norbert😊 The clean rooms and turn down service was above and beyond. The laundry service was fabulous. I highly recommend this for everyone who wants to feel like royalty. It was perfect and we are so sad to leave.

A luxury respite while in your Safari
The Neptune Ngorongoro Lodge was spectacular! And it is right outside the Crater. The room was very luxurious and provided all we needed. All of the staff were very attentive and pleasant, especially Norbert! The meals were delicious with plenty of variety. From the welcome reception, to the daily happy hours, to the nightly turn down service, you can’t go wrong with staying here

Exceptional service, tasty food, and beautiful property & suite. We recommend this lodge.
My husband and I stayed at Neptune Lodge from Feb 6-Feb 8, 2026. We were both so impressed with the beautiful grounds, the impressive suite with a large patio that had a fantastic view overlooking a conservancy. The food was excellent and the staff were very polite and responsive to all our needs. We have to give a special mention and thanks to Norbert our room steward who gave us outstanding service. He was so kind and attentive to our requests. We would say to Neptune Lodge’s management that with Norbert you have a very special staff member. Our trip was way too short and we plan to return in the future.

Astonishing place
Amazing place, just at ngorongoro door step. Service was top notch, premises simply astonishing. Food was good. We staid at two of the houses with my family last week and it was all perfect. The premises, the view and the details. Food can be improved
