We utterly enjoyed this lodge It’s practically located close to the crater. It’s gives you Our of Africa feeling, with beautifully manicured flowerbeds, grass areas and lodge surroundings. It’s overlooks the jungle that creeps from the crater and if you are lucky you can see elephants and buffalo’s while you are sipping a glass of wine on your porch. The food was Amazing! Chef Igor knows how to make super delicious food. The service was excellent, everyone was so lovely, which made our stay even more memorable. We were most in touch with Auness, Deo and Fabian, and they were all so fantastic and attentive. The swimming pool needs an overhaul, just to be in line with the rest of the lodge. We can highly recommend this lodge, and we will definitely come back again!

Beautiful spacious chalets with a view are set in a stunning hotel garden. Excellent food, good selection. The staff are so kind and attentive and try to fulfill all your wishes. We didn't want to leave. Probably the best hotel I've stayed at in Tanzania!

Location: excellent spot atop a hillside literally 5 mins from Ngorongoro entrance Atmosphere: very jungly and beautiful scenery, lush trees with organic garden and herbs growing. Safe with guards and staff always present Rooms: Our room was incredible! Balcony overseeing the hill side with elephants visiting below, spacious, hot hot hot water, all the amenities you need Value; excellent value as the staff and team are so friendly, welcoming, and hospitable. Our safari guide , Briton aka Tony, made each drive so memorable with his knowledge, his thoughtfulness (knew where to line up the car for great pictures, turned down noise when he knew we were filming, and was silently watching us to know and expect our needs for a better experience. He is also a wonderful person to talk to, so sharing lunches with him was also memorable for us. Cannot say enough about him and the team at the property. All incredible and kind Safari drives: we did full day after pick up at lake manyara airstrip, directly into lake manyara— incredible for elephants, monkey, baboons, birds Next day did Ngorongoro crater, saw everything in about 5 hours and that was at a leisure pace with not too much traffic for that time of year.

We had the most amazing two day stay at Neptune Ngorongoro Luxury Lodge. From the moment we arrived it was obvious that our satisfaction was paramount. Our driver/safari guide Samuel was exceptional from the moment he picked us up from the airstrip. He was kind, knowledgeable and a very capable driver. Our safaris were so much fun, with lots of large animal sightings over the two days. Samuel was very knowledgeable about the animals and area. The food at the lodge and provided ‘picnic style’ on our drives was the nicest food we’ve experienced in Africa. The rooms are beautifully presented, and spacious with the most beautiful views over the forest. We saw elephants and a brown buck from our balcony! The staff at the lodge were all amazing. Always so friendly and welcoming with very strong attention to detail. Aunes at reception was very experienced, friendly and capable. In the bar and dining room the staff were obviously very well trained in hospitality. The cocktails were such high quality and again, the food offerings were plentiful and delicious. Nobert was our host in the dining room and he was one of the finest servers we have experienced. He anticipated every need and his service was exceptional. All in all there is simply nothing we could fault about our stay. I could not recommend this lodge more highly for your Ngorongoro stay!

This was the first night of our 7 day safari. I cannot say more great things about it this hotel. Upon arrival we were welcomed with a traditional Maasai song up to reception. All of the staff are so kind and attentive. Our waitress, Veronica, did amazing with breakfast and dinner. Speaking of food, everything was so delicious. From the traditional options to American classics. The rooms are stunning, with an amazing view. For our room, even our beds were warmed before we went to sleep. If you can, please stay at the hotel!
