My wife and I along with another couple found Sivory Punta Cana to be very relaxing. The spa was wonderful. Keep in mind this is a small hotel, but I think you will find everyone to be attentive to your needs. The resort is very laid back and somewhat isolated...but that's what we loved about it.

We found an impressive deal via Luxury Link, and were so pleased that we went to Sivory. The staff is sweet and friendly, the place itself is quiet and gorgeous. 

My wife and I stayed at Sivory April 17-24, 2013.  Lets start with the hits, room is spacious, airy, and clean with a nice sized balcony.  Virtually every room has ocean views.  Misses with the room were a bed that was so HARD (not firm) we actually took the cushions from couch and slept on them.  The room had a double shower which was nice however one of the two showers did not work, also is had a large separate tub, unfortunately the water flow was so poor by the time you had enough water to take a bath is was cold water.  The minibar was stocked with Pepsi, water, Presidente beer, and approx 8 un-drinkable wines.   As for the property is was well kept and very nice.  The landscaping was nice with many beautiful flowers and plants.  The pool was clean and quite nice.  The staff was very friendly and service was as to be expected in the Caribbean a touch slow but not bad.  The beach was large, fairly clean, and almost always empty.  The resort is on the Atlantic ocean side and the week we were there the wind was strong enough to turn the beach into a place to go get sand blasted not relax.  The surf is also strong.  Keep this in mind if you are wanting a Beach vacation.  There where three restaurants and we dinned at all of them.  Breakfast at Veranda was enjoyable every day and overall the best place to eat.  The food was average at best and down right bad often, couple this with five star dinning prices and it leaves you very disappointed.  Lastly on the property you should be aware you are an hour plus away form anything thing (no really) and there are no resort driven activities.  For us this was OK because we came to relax and unwind.  If you need ANY stimulation this is not the place for you.
