Celebrating 27 years, Calaway Park is Western Canada's largest amusement park and is a great place to take the family for a day. With 33 rides to suit all ages, including a corkscrew rollercoaster, bumper cars, interactive bumper boats, the famous "Chaos," and more, there is a ride for every taste. Calaway Park also offers live entertainment, food, games, shopping and min-golf. It requires a half to a full-day to enjoy thoroughly. The Telus World of Science is preparing to move into a new facility in 2011, which will be a landmark for the city. The Science Centre is a great spot for children, and is a host to many traveling exhibits, such as Body Worlds and Einstein & Darwin. It is also home to a number of great exhibits and film presentations that keep kids entertained while the learn. The staff are enthusiastic and helpful.
