My family and I, including our three sons, ages 23-26, and my mother-in-law, had an extraordinary time at Le Capanne. Our hosts made the trip extremely memorable. The villa has been in their family for 200 years, and their hospitality and attention to detail were remarkable in perfecting our stay. Our tour of Florence was remarkable - our knowledgeable tour guide had a PHD in Art History, and provided us a great context for what we were seeing! Our cooking class at the villa was the highlight of our trip. We have traveled to many places around the world. This was very special, partly for the beauty of the villa and Tuscany, but mostly because of the great people we found there. We strongly recommend it!

Anonymous· 2 years agoMy friends and I had a great time at Le Capanne. From this location we had a number of great day trips in Tuscany. We also did a bunch of bike rides using the villa as our base. Our hosts were on top of everything. The villa is extremely well maintained with great space and comforts at hand. We especially enjoyed our cooking class at the villa (and we are four novice cooks). This was a special trip, Tuscany is so beautiful, and the special people who run the villa make it very highly rated. It was fantastic!

Le Capanne
Camporsevoli, Tuscany, Italy
Tuscany is filled with surprises, and revealing its secrets is the magnificent Le Capanne villa. This unique villa is ideal for travelers who desire to immerse themselves in a country's culture and history. Among the region's many surprises is the hamlet of Camporsevoli. Consisting of just five hilltop buildings, it boasts a long history - the cellar of its main villa was once an ancient Etruscan tomb. It also shelters the lovingly restored Le Capanne farmhouse, which you are invited to make your enchanting home away from home.
Original charm blends with modern comfort in this five-bedroom retreat. Spend the morning exploring a local market, then return to the kitchen, complete with a fireplace for indoor barbecues, to whip up a Tuscan feast. Boasting its own pool, the three-story farmhouse features a top floor master bedroom with fantastic valley views. As you gaze across the landscape, you are sure to be enticed outdoors with wine tasting at the Brunello winery in Montalcino or a visit to Piero della Francesca's mystical frescoes in Arezzo.
