My husband and I recently stayed for a week at the Villa Marsili in Cortona, Italy. On a scale of one to ten we give it a fifteen. It was lovely. The hotel has been beautifully restored with the utmost care. It was beautiful as well as comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff  were professional but warm, and extremely helpful. Everytime I entered the door it felt like I was coming home. When we left it was like leaving family who I would not see for a long time. I cannot emphasize enough just how nice this hotel is - not just inside, the outside courtyard and entrance was also inviting. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented every morning and the evening aperitifs also offered a welcome time to sit and visit with other guests, and relax after a day of touring before going out to dinner. We looked forward to it each evening. We would definitely stay at The Villa Marsili again. -P. & S. Keen
