As the sun rises over the valley take a leisurely morning stroll through the resort's botanical gardens, feeling the cool breeze as it carries the myriad songs of birds. Enjoy a hike along 4 kilometers of trails through the dense jungles around the resort, following the Tacacori River to five magical waterfalls and cooling off with a dip in the pools. Venture out on a bird watching tour in the morning, followed by a walk through the greenhouse and farmyard, then stretch out by the pool for an afternoon cocktail. Take a day out in the valley for the Doka Coffee Tour, where you will learn all about the process of making coffee and can even pick your own. In the evening make your way into downtown San Jose to stroll d6own the beautifully lit streets, shopping in boutiques and charming local shops, stopping for a drink at a café, and delving into the fabulous street food. With the sun setting over the valley now, after a full day of adventure and relaxation, return to the resort for dinner at the restaurant, where delicious Costa Rican cuisine is served outside as the sky becomes fiery reds and purples until the stars come out.
