I visited Panicliffes in Olhos d’Água and had a marvellous experience! The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. For starters, we had burrata and some fried bites, both very tasty and nicely presented. My main course was a mushroom risotto, absolutely delicious – creamy and cooked to perfection. A special mention to chefs Adriana and Ronald, who came to our table and were incredibly welcoming — they truly made the experience even more memorable. The atmosphere is cosy and perfect for a lovely dinner. I would highly recommend this place and will certainly return!

This hotel is unbelievably chaotic. The only thing luxurious about it is the view and the grounds. The pools are very small and do not have enough seating for the volume of guest that stay. Most guests have to lounge on chairs elsewhere on the grounds away from the pools and bars. The hotel is incredibly loud and overrun with children. The rooms are clean but dated. Some of the staff were friendly, but others made you feel like an inconvenience. The experience does not match the price point nor “The Luxury Collection” label. The restaurants are pretty good, but we chose to eat off resort most evenings. The amenities, restaurants and bars were very overpriced. I would not recommend this hotel for adult families or couples. I don’t even know that I would recommend it for families with kids.

Our family holiday at Pine Cliffs Resort was absolutely fantastic, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Everything about the resort from the stunning location to the warm and professional staff made our stay unforgettable The resort itself is breathtaking. Surrounded by tall pine trees and beautiful gardens, it sits on dramatic cliffs with incredible views of the Atlantic Ocean. The beach, which you reach by lift and a wooden walkway, is one of the most beautiful we’ve ever visited. The golden sand, clear water and peaceful setting made it a place we returned to again and again. As a family, we were especially impressed by how well the resort looks after children. The kids’ club was a real highlight, our children loved the activities, games and sports, and they were cared for by friendly and attentive staff. The children’s pool at Porto Pirata, playground and mini-golf kept them happily entertained every day, which gave us parents the chance to unwind For the adults, there was just as much to enjoy. The spa was excellent, and having a treatment in such a calm setting was a real treat. The golf course, perched right on the cliffs, was an unforgettable experience for those in the family who play. There were also plenty of swimming pools dotted around the resort, perfect for relaxing in the sunshine. The dining options were another highlight. With so many restaurants to choose from, every meal felt special. Whether it was fresh seafood, traditional Portuguese dishes or international favourites, the quality was always outstanding. Even the more casual restaurants served delicious food What really made our stay exceptional, though, was the service. Every member of staff we met was welcoming, helpful and genuinely cared about making our holiday perfect. From reception to the restaurants and the kids’ club, their kindness and attention made all the difference. Overall, Pine Cliffs Resort is far more than just a Resort, it’s a complete experience. It manages to offer fun and adventure for children, relaxation for adults and a touch of luxury for everyone. We left with so many happy memories and all agreed that it was one of the best family holidays we’ve ever had. We would not hesitate to recommend Pine Cliffs to any family looking for a wonderful holiday in the Algarve, and we can’t wait to return.

Overall Poor service, awful & expensive food and no sunloungers by pool or beach .Do not waste your hard earned money. We have came for a 10 day holiday as family of four which cost the price of a small family car to book bed and breakfast for 2 rooms. We are still at the resort but I am so frustrated I had to leave a review as I have never been as disappointed as I am staying this resort . We have previously stayed at the Abama resort Tenerife also a Marriot resort where the service is truly 5 star so expected a similar level of service. They could not be more different in service levels. This hotel clearly has no staff training and management oversight. The staff are not trained, rude often standing around chatting amongst themselves rather than provide good service. They cannot communicate at all and appear to be unmotivated to provide a good service . I have seen the staff kick around plastic cups rather than pick them up as they walk around the resort. The experience from the minute you arrive is poor. The person at the gate when we arrived by taxi barked at us . The reception staff do not smile or make eye contact whilst checking you in.They give no information about the resort without having to be prompted. It is a large resort and not easily navigated. We arrived around midday and told that our rooms would not be available until 3 pm.Not unusual but normally there is somewhere to change or you are told that you will be called if the rooms are available earlier. We went back to reception and only one room was ready at 3 we had to wait until 4 for the second one . When I asked whether there was somewhere to change into swimwear etc we were pointed to a small smelly set of toilets by the reception area that is too small to change and bring suitcase into and we had to open those in the middle of reception. Then we went to find a sun lounger and was shocked that the only ones we could find and have been sitting at all week is on a grass area under pine trees so no sun which is like sunbathing in a park which I could have done in London ! You cannot get a sunbed by the pool as there are only about 12 by each pool. This is the worst part of the resort the pools by the hotel are small and have very few sun loungers . As for the beach which is lovely and the best part of the hotel we have tried every day for last week to get a sunbed there but cannot despite being there at 9 every morning and walking the 15 mins down the walk way and steps. Food:- Breakfast food is not warm and quality is poor. Trying to get tea and coffee is difficult you have to keep asking for them . The best thing there is a burger van in the grass area we got that for lunch and ate at the sun lounger. For dinner the restaurants are booked up a week in advance. We arrived on Monday the first time I could book a table at the Italian was Saturday. The food is awful and we sent back the lasagne as it tasted of nothing they said this was the second one sent back in last hour and we ordered a pizza which took 30 mins to come and we ended taking it as a takeaway. The Corda cafe where we eat the first night due to no other restaurant being available was the worst meal ,the pizza was undercooked the rest of meals were bland and like a kids menu type food they charged a fortune .The staff were miserable and rude. The best restaurant is the Piri piri steak restaurant but the bill came to £450 for four of us and that was with hardly any alcohol . We have been eating outside of the resort due to how bad and expensive it is. The champagne bar is lovely for sundowners and has a view of the sea but again very expensive . The room a standard resort view room is large and the bathroom is modern and excellent. But again the cleaning of room is poor they often don’t replace the right number of towels do not change the beds very often.Turn down service is poor if hardly ever done and again take the trowels and don’t leave any to replace them.Almost every day I have had to call to get some. The grounds are lovely but it is a tired hotel and is over whelmed by the number of guests and is both very expensive to book and when you get here you have to pay a fortune much more than central London prices at a very good restaurant but without the service and quality of food. Overall the staff are de motivated and badly trained

Stayed in June. The grounds are fabulous. The pools are cold. The food quality is poor but very expensive. The Indian restaurant had interesting decor but the chicken was gristly. The lunch service was excellent, you can order from your sunbed and will bring it to you. We had a problem with broken deck furniture in our villa, no big deal really , you would expect a phone call to reception would resolve: unfortunately 3 phone calls and 24 hours later I was told that the villas have private ownership separate from the hotel and they need sign off from the “owner” before they can fix. This was proving hard to obtain. They tried to stick on a facility charge the week before arrival. Didn’t pay it. A faculty charge being ridiculous from outset but trying to add to bill without being told about at time of your reservation is bad form. It also seems that they do corporate events. They told everyone by a designated pool area to up sticks and move their belongings and try and find somewhere else. Hardly 5* behaviour.

Thank you for a lovely stay at Sheraton Algarve Hotel. We enjoyed it very much indeed. We really appreciated the room upgrade, the bottle of port, and we were most impressed with the property. I must also say that all the staff that we dealt with were very helpful which also makes a big difference.
